Whats Happening
Posted by: | CommentsWell, since my last post, where I advised you all that I sent my CV out to numerous Gyms around the City, including, LA Fitness, Fitness First and Gym Box, to date I have had… NO replies. Absolutely nothing. Not even a courtesy reply. Am I now finding out how tough this industry is going to be? Or are there just dicks that work in the gyms I sent my CV to?
Im not actually that bothered about getting a Part Time job in the Industry, yes, it will give me some experience and see how things are done, but im going to be so busy over the next few months I don’t think im going to have time to work a full time job, work out, study and work a part time job.
So what’s happening in the next few months? Well next week im starting my 8 week Nutrition and Weight management course, which will be completed Online. That is followed by a 8 week case study, in which I will need to apply my newly found knowledge on foods etc to a Guinea Pig… my Brother.
Whilst doing that Case study, I will be attending a 5 day work shop in January for Personal Trainer and Advanced Instructor, which is also followed by a Case Study, a 12 week one. And then once I have completed that, I can start my final part of my Course, Which is more Nutrition stuff.
So pretty busy, but am looking forward to it.
The CV is Sent
Posted by: | CommentsOK, haven’t updated this little bad boy for a while, I’ve been lazy. But in my defence, not to much has been happening on the Training front. I am not due to start the next section of my course until November, which I’m looking forward to. Its an 8 week online, home study on Nutrition and Weight Management. Which is then followed by an 8 week case study, which also falls online with my Personal Trainer Case study, so I have a lot to do from November will March. Read More→
Circuit Training and Core Stabilityzzzz
Posted by: | CommentsSo I’m about 2 and half weeks late? Doesn’t look as if Blogging is my forte’, but I will try harder.
As I mentioned, a couple weeks ago I had 2 1 day courses, 1 day was Circuit Training, which was fun and exciting, allowed us to get a good insight to how Circuit Classes are set up and the financial benefits involved. The “teacher” for the day, David Bland, a guy who has been in the industry for 20 odd years, was like a walking encyclopaedia. He knew everything about everything when it come to Fitness.
Gym Instructor qualified – Yay Me
Posted by: | CommentsI PASSED.
Sorry for the late notification, but have been a tad busy with my new workout plan to post the good news. Sunday was the day of my Level 2 Gym Instructor Assessment with Future Fit, in which I had to show an Assessor that I was able to deliver a successful induction to a new gym member (my girlfriend).
